The Base Flying at Alexanderplatz is one of the most spectacular attractions in Berlin. Base Flying, where bold participants plunge vertically to the ground from the 125-meter high Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz in a controlled fall, secured by a special winch rappel system commonly used by stuntmen, to the amazement of spectators. What looks like Bungee Jumping at first sight, is the world´s fastest winch reaching almost free fall speed. Since 2009 more than 20,000 base flyers have dared to take the plunge.
